Sin ríos ni callejones
strategic linking Cítrico Gráfico for Abierto Mexicano de Diseño
Our basis is publishing design. Books and magazines are a big part of our life. When we were invited to be part of the editorial exhibition Sin ríos ni callejones within the Abierto Mexicano de Diseño, we did not hesitate for a second.
This expo, unique in its field, showed Mexican editorial work for 17 years, from 2000 to 2017, through a selection of titles exhibited in the imposing Postal Palace in the center of the City that was widely visited.
We were part of a discussion table on the role of books and designers in today’s world and accompanied by a Group Therapy, an informal talk between different disciplines to understand our day to day as workers in the world of culture, a modality that we replicate at different events.
The following year, the exhibition was called Sin risos ni callejones and focused on the world of fanzines. GSM was in charge of curating Argentine publications that showed the current state of the world of self-publishing.
Both expos allowed the audience to take the object, browse it and interact with it.
