Chalices Intervene by Five Women Illustrators

client Abierto Mexicano de Diseño for Stella Artois

In one way or another, every year we collaborate with the Abierto Mexicano de Diseño. On this occasion, we were commissioned to find five Mexican women illustrators who could intervene 20 chalices of Stella Artois.

For us the task was easy: in less than a day we already had the list and confirmation of the five illustrators. Amanda Mijangos, Hola Lou, Indi Maverick, Minerva GM and Pamela Medina were ready to work. Each one had received the chalices but when it was time to start working on them, they all encountered a problem: glass is a very difficult surface to work with.

It is important to note that none of them said anything about this until after the delivery of the chalices, which were all incredible and super diverse among themselves. All unique and unrepeatable pieces that were exhibited during the 7th edition of the Abierto Mexicano de Diseño, and that we accompanied with a very entertaining talk about this and other stories of life as illustrators.

Some of the chalices are for sale in our store!
