The possibilities of illustration are many and perhaps one of the most obvious is to intervene a wall. In this case we wanted, rather than intervene, to take two illustrations to the wall as a canvas. We wanted to get away from street art because we wanted to communicate something different.
With that in mind, we decided to show the interpretation of three brands of alcohol by illustrator Carolina Monterrubio, who she reflected on two different walls what the brands of whiskey, gin, and rum that we had chosen represented to her.
The artist sketched her feelings of each brand in two different pieces to be taken to two different walls but that were in a dialogue with each other. The result of this was the facade of the sixth edition of GSM and the entrance wall to the Fair, both sharing a palette of colors and styles.
